Why 1XTECHS

One team, one contract, one accountable outcome.

Most delivery risk lives in the seams between people: strategy to design, design to engineering, launch to support. 1XTECHS removes the seams by keeping all of it in one team.

01

Design and engineering are one contract

You brief once. There is no second vendor re-interpreting the design, and no gap where responsibility disappears.

02

Estimates made against real constraints

Engineers price the design while it is still being drawn, so the plan you approve is the plan that gets built.

03

Reviewable every week

A staging environment you can click, not a progress percentage. Direction changes land early, when they are cheap.

04

We are still here after launch

Monitoring, improvements and new modules. The product keeps developing instead of decaying.

Compared

The same brief, three different structures.

An honest comparison of how a project runs with a combined team, a split agency arrangement, or a single freelancer.

1XTECHS
Split agency + dev shop
Solo freelancer
Accountability
One team owns design, build and release
Split across design and dev vendors
Depends on one person’s availability
Design → build handover
No handover; same team, same system
Formal handover, intent often lost
Usually no design system at all
Technical feasibility
Checked while the design is drawn
Checked after design sign-off
Varies by discipline
Weekly proof
Clickable staging environment
Status report or deck
Ad-hoc updates
After go-live
Support and improvement retainer
New scope, new statement of work
Best-effort, if still available
Scaling the team
Design + engineering added as needed
Contractual change process
Hard ceiling

Structural comparison, not a claim about any specific company.

Commitments

What you get in writing.

01

Scope in writing before we start

Goals, users, constraints, deliverables and what is explicitly out of scope — on one page you approve.

02

One named contact

A single person accountable for the engagement, with the working team reachable behind them.

03

Performance and accessibility budgets

Targets agreed up front and tested before launch, not discovered by your users.

04

Documented handover

Components, content models, environments and deploy steps documented so you are never locked in.

05

Honest evidence only

Our portfolio uses actual project imagery and describes the work in context. Client feedback, where included, is attributed to the service it concerns.

Experience across industries

Different businesses.
The same care in the details.

Our work spans property, marine, professional services, commerce and travel. Explore how the design changes with the audience.

Questions

The things clients ask first.

Yes. We audit what exists, flag the gaps that will hurt in build, and continue from there rather than restarting for the sake of it.

Fixed scope for defined phases, and a monthly retainer for ongoing product work. Commercial terms are confirmed after the scope page is agreed.

Change is expected. We price it against the agreed scope page so the trade-off is visible before anything is built.

Ownership, access and handover deliverables are agreed in the project contract. Third-party platforms, fonts and other licensed materials remain subject to their own terms.

Often. We can own design and hand over an engineering-ready system, or embed alongside your team with shared standards.

Fewer seams, fewer surprises.

Bring us the launch you are planning. We will tell you honestly whether this structure fits it.
