The context

Project overview

Avalla’s UAE storefront presents appliances including air conditioners, dehumidifiers and air purifiers. The website needs to support both category discovery and a more detailed assessment of individual products. Our design and development work brings brand presentation and practical shopping information into one storefront.

Project purpose

Help shoppers move from a household need to an appropriate product category, examine individual items and continue through the shopping journey with access to support information.

Business needs addressed

  • Make the appliance range understandable through clear product categories.
  • Present product imagery, price and specifications in a consistent detail layout.
  • Keep cart actions and aftercare information accessible during product evaluation.

The design challenge

What the experience needed to solve.

Home appliance purchases involve comparison. A shopper needs more than a promotional banner: they need to understand the product, inspect its appearance and find the relevant specifications. The design challenge was to retain a clean retail presentation while giving detailed product information enough space.

Our solution

Design and development, together.

We connected category-led browsing with reusable product pages. Product imagery creates recognition, while pricing, quantity and cart controls form a clear purchase area. Supporting descriptions and specification sections extend the page for customers who need to evaluate fit before choosing an item.

Inside the website

Features with a purpose.

Category-led shopping

Air quality and home-life navigation connects visitors with appliance groups, including air conditioners, dehumidifiers and air purifiers.

Detailed product pages

Individual pages combine product imagery, descriptions and specification information within a consistent shopping layout.

Cart interaction

Product pages provide quantity and add-to-cart controls, with cart access available from the storefront header.

Support alongside products

Aftercare and contact pathways remain part of the storefront experience, alongside product-review content and purchase information.

User experience

A journey built around the audience.

The interface separates a quick purchase decision from deeper product research without forcing a choice between them. The primary shopping controls are easy to locate, while additional information remains available further down the product page for visitors who need to compare details.

Across screen sizes

A considered mobile experience.

The product layout stacks imagery and purchase information for narrow screens. This keeps the item, price and shopping action within a coherent sequence, while the compact header preserves access to categories and the cart.

Customer perspective on the client’s service

“The air conditioner cools the room much faster than we expected, even during peak heat, and the air feels cleaner and less dry. Since using both humidifier and cooling settings, I’ve noticed a big reduction in morning congestion and dry sinuses. Delivery was quick, setup was effortless.”
